David Hasenauer is the Chief Executive Officer of Green Point Hemp. David is a cannabis policy expert and real estate development professional. David was an integral part of the campaign that passed Amendment 2 by a historic margin, effectively bringing medical cannabis to Florida. Subsequently, David helped craft and pass both pieces of legislation bringing industrial hemp to the state of Florida – SB 1726 (2017) and SB 1020 (2019). In addition to his role at Green Point Hemp, David serves on: the Florida Hemp Advisory Committee as appointed by Agricultural Commissioner Nikki Fried, the Medical Marijuana Advisory Board of Broward County, and as the elected President of the Hemp Industries Association of Florida.
Matthew “Matt” Turner is the Chief Science Officer for Green Point Hemp, overseeing the technology, design, construction, and operation of Green Point’s extraction and refining operations. Matt brings a wealth of knowledge in extraction and refining operations, having previously constructed and managed extraction and refining plants as Global Manufacturing Operations Manager with Cargill. He also has held the positions of VP of Manufacturing and Engineering with Golden Peanut, COO of Justin’s Nut Butter, and CEO of DeSmet Ballestra, one of the world’s technical leaders in the edible oil extraction and refining business. Matt has earned the following degrees: BS in Chemistry, BS in Chemical Engineering, MS in Management, and MS in Chemical Engineering.
Robin Parton Pate serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Green Point Hemp. As CMO for the company, she is responsible for the overarching strategic marketing vision for the thriving vertically-integrated biotechnology company as it expands its national and international reach and revenue generation. Prior to joining Green Point, Pate most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at a major public-private partnership, IACMI, where she was responsible for government relations, strategic partnerships, and other functional areas. Through her executive leadership positions with IACMI and many globally recognized media brands, including HGTV, CNN, and TBS, she has earned a reputation as an innovative and impactful marketer and business strategist.
Pate holds a Master of Arts in Marketing from the University of Alabama (UA), a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western Carolina University (WCU), and a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard.
Her community leadership highlights include serving on Western Carolina University’s (WCU) Foundation Board of Directors, Visit Knoxville’s Board of Directors, and other advisory roles.
Michael “Mike” Dukes is the Director of Agricultural Operations for Green Point Hemp, leading Green Point’s cultivation and processing design and operations. Mike brings a vast wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team, having almost twenty (20) years of experience cultivating high-THC cannabis and high-CBD hemp in nearly every growing environment and medium. In addition to owning and operating a seed bank and production facility in Colorado and hemp farms in Colorado and New York, Mike has consulted and established numerous licensed cultivation and extraction facilities across the country and internationally, including in Florida, Colorado, New York, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colombia, the Caribbean, and Spain.
Vicente Thrower is the Vice President of Government and Community Affairs for Green Point Hemp, overseeing Green Point’s local government and community outreach. Vicente brings 15+ years of organizing and business development experience, along with a deep understanding of business connectivity and community relations. Building trust and relationships throughout his career has been the bedrock of Vicente’s portfolio of work while aiding political candidates, government officials, and various businesses from sectors including construction and development, healthcare, and social services. Vicente has a passion for projects that connect people to people and business to the community. In addition to his work in Government and Community Affairs, Vicente heads Green Point’s minority outreach program.
