WHAT IS HHC?
HHC, or hexahydrocannibinol, is one of the over 200 cannabinoids produced by the cannabis sativa plant. HHC is a minor cannabinoid as it’s produced in trace amounts. The cannabinoid is similar to THC, with only minor differences in the molecular structure.
WHAT DOES THE RESEARCH SAY ABOUT HHC?
As a psychoactive cannabinoid, HHC has similar, but milder euphoric effects as THC. Medical research on HHC is limited, but there is early evidence from studies that cite its potential as an anti-cancer agent.
The 2010 NIH Study, “Novel hexahydrocannabinol analogs as potential anti-cancer agents inhibit cell proliferation and tumor angiogenesis” summarized the findings by saying,
“Together, these results suggest that novel synthetic hexahydrocannabinol analogs, LYR-7 and LYR-8, inhibit tumor growth by targeting VEGF-mediated angiogenesis signaling in endothelial cells and suppressing VEGF production and cancer cell growth.”

Many cannabis users use the cannabinoid with diet and exercise as part of their wellness routines as they aim to manage sleep, anxiety, and pain management.
IS HHC LEGAL?
Most experts agree that HHC is completely legal under current federal regulations put in place by the 2018 Farm Bill as long as it’s derived from hemp and contains no more than 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dried weight.
While some States like Colorado and Vermont have restricted cannabinoids like Delta-8 THC, as of April 2023, there are no states that have explicitly restricted HHC.
The States that view HHC as a threat to their sales in their legal cannabis markets are the most likely States to have bans on the increasingly popular cannabinoid.
WHERE CAN I GET HHC?
Fortunately for you, bulk kilos of HHC and other cannabinoids are sold by Green Point Hemp.
HHC edibles such as gummies are also available on GramCo’s website. We’re always considering what products should be added next, so if you are looking for another HHC product we don’t have, let us know.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS TESTED?
Every product you buy from Green Point Hemp is tested in a third party laboratory to ensure you receive the consistent, high cannabinoids you expect every time. At a minimum, states require hemp products to be sold with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for cannabinoid potency. The COA details the cannabinoid for the HHC product being tested, either as a percentage of the total dry weight of the product or as milligrams per serving. Full panel testing is also available, and will include testing for pesticides, residual solvents, heavy metals, microbials, and mycotoxins.
COMPLIANCE
Green Point Hemp bulk cannabinoid products are sold to customers over the age of 21.
